By using the magnetic and wireless technology, ROSIMITS have developed the wireless vehicle detection for urban traffic, that is the smart road traffic signal control system.

The system normally has three parts:

1.Data collection: 

it includes vehicle sensor and receiver. The in-road vehicle sensor will detect the traffic data (presence, count, volume, direction, etc.) 

At the meantime, it will transmit the data to the receiver wirelessly.

2.Traffic signal:

traffic signal light and traffic signal controller. The traffic signal light will display the red/yellow/green signal for drivers. The traffic signal can receive the traffic data from receiver and adjust the signal by specified algorithm.

3.Backstage: 

The server and platform software, app, etc.

The raw traffic data is from the receiver via Ethernet, the server have stored all the data in the SQL. The platform and app is used for display the real-time traffic data to the end users.

Case Study

This system has been implemented in Malaysia, Philippines, Germany, Saudi Arabia and etc.

The Malaysia company are using SCATS ATC controller mainly, they also have the Tyco, QTC and Hisense controller in local. They connect our devices with all of the controllers, and integrity successfully.

Their projects are replacing the existing inductive-loop vehicle sensor for 35 intersections. After their integrity and testing, they determined to use our wireless vehicle detection devices to complete these projects. The installation of each lane only took less than 15 minutes, significantly reducing their construction and road closure times. 

Till now, they have finished 8 intersections for first trial, the performance of the wireless vehicle detectors which replace the loop detection are delivering high quality, high accuracy and dependable data to the system. Now they are going to install all the intersections and it is planned to complete in one-two months.
